Cold temps, cuddly dogs

Because a post without a pic is not much fun, let Ben entertain ya. Here he is with his sleepy grin.

The other night as temps outside hovered below freezing, I was indoors, watchin’ TV, nestled in my plush electric throw. Molly was snoring in her donut bed. Ben was laying on the floor, his back against the length of the sofa. I let out a big ol’ exaggerated yawn and stretched out my legs and arms. Within seconds, Molly awoke and did her best imitation of my yawn (scarily... very human sounding), and hopped up on the sofa and plopped herself into a neat little pile next to me. Ben stirred, looked over at Molly and stood up, did his stretches – first front legs, then back legs one at a time, and jumped on the sofa to join me. Ben nestled right up against my side, blinked at me and gingerly rested his head on my lap and let out a big deep sigh. My heart warmed. I’m just lovin’ up these dogs!

  1. Aww, that could be my two you are describing... Funny how they do that long stretch... Dogs are the best snuggle pals aren't they. :-)

  2. What a sweet post. Love you Ben and Molly! We've been dealing with rain here and the BCs get spritzed with buddy splash so I can hug them and they can snuggle in the bed.
